Companies I’ve Reviewed: Biokleen & Ecover

In my research and reviews of companies/brands I look at:

-Rating/Reviews – I look at general reviews online and check rating on ewg.org and/or ewg.org/skindeep (a website that examines brands/ingredients for toxicity). On the main website the best rating is an A, on skin deep best rating is 1. Note that it can be complicated to search for things on the main site – usually I google the brand and “ewg” and see if it comes up. Occasionally a company/product cannot be found so then I look more closely at the actual ingredients and reviews both online and people I know.

-Cost – Is it worth it for what you’re getting? How does it compare to what else is out there?

-Effectiveness – Do the products really work? This is sometimes a matter of opinion - some find certain products to work well that others don’t.

 
Companies I’ve Reviewed: Biokleen

Biokleen is rated pretty much all A-B on ewg.org (just 1 of the listed products were a C). Dish liquids, soaps, various cleaners, even their bleach are all excellent in regards to purity.

Their laundry detergent (A rating) is the best price for the quality I’ve found so far (at least among my personal top choices). Their dish soap came in second for price. Reviews are good. I’ll likely be getting their laundry detergent to try out when I run out of what I’m using now.  

Companies I’ve Reviewed: Ecover

This company has an A rating on EWG which is the best rating you can get. I really like this company from everything I’ve seen, but they are a little more expensive than the B or C rated ones of course. They don’t have very many products so you’re limited there, but what I’ve used I’ve liked. Prices are reasonable – especially for the dish soap. I’ve used their laundry detergent and like it a lot! I’ve also been using their Lime Zest Dish Soap which works great and suds up really good! The unscented is usually a bit cheaper though so that’s probably what I’ll normally go with. Walmart price is comparable to other similar brands and you can get it in bulk on Amazon for a little cheaper.
